Tray-Sean Ben Salmi is an Amazon #1 Best Seller, publisher, financial advocate, host, presenter, TEDx speaker, and award-winning author. Tray-Sean has delivered speeches at prestigious events such as TEDx Swansea, Chelsea FC Foundation, Virgin Money Lounge, Brunel University London, and the Steve & Marjorie Harvey Foundation. He is also the host of “The Influencer Show.” Signed with FirstPoint USA, Tray-Sean is embarking on an academic and sports scholarship journey in America. He was honored during Chelsea FC’s Edge of The Box 6th Anniversary and served as a head-hunter for UnLtd, becoming their youngest-ever funded member at age 11. Who have you helped/who will you help?

I have helped people of all ages better understand how to utilize their finances more effectively. Whether sharing the importance of investing or tapping into the invaluable wisdom available through intergenerational conversations, I plan on continuing to deepen my understanding of finance and share these teachings. This will ensure others have the financial acumen necessary to navigate professional success.

Why is this mission important?

Growing up, I saw finances as a key factor affecting how we approach all things in life—from the experiences we have and the people we surround ourselves with to how we think about ourselves. I realized that finances impact all areas of our lives and decided to work towards eradicating poverty by educating others on how they can make their money work for them. I am particularly knowledgeable about investing and trading, and I educate both beginners and experienced traders on improving their trading performance. I have helped several investors with six-figure portfolios.

How did you help them?

I educate my audience through group or one-on-one coaching sessions and speaking engagements. By sharing my teachings and providing examples of their practical application, listeners can see how to implement these techniques in their everyday lives.

What has proven successful, and what has been the impact of your work?

I have mentored several successful day traders and inspired students to launch their businesses. Most importantly, by giving these students someone they can relate to, they see that there aren’t many differences between us, which motivates them to get started. By being vulnerable and sharing my setbacks, such as my fear of public speaking, I help them understand that it is normal to be scared.

What challenges did you encounter? What were the key lessons learned?

Throughout my journey, I’ve had to reflect on times when I felt burnt out or behind. What kept me on track was having a “why” that was bigger than me. This mission helped me stay focused. I learned that balance is needed—work hard, play hard! I’ve had business deals fall apart over small things, which could have disrupted my progress. However, with a strong support system and invaluable teachings from others, I found ways to make it work. As cliché as it sounds, if you find something you’re passionate about, you’ll never work a day in your life.

What’s next?

I plan to attend university to study business management. Alongside that, I will continue sharing my passion for finance online and will provide additional programs to help educate others.

Given my interest in finance, particularly asset management, I would appreciate any advice on navigating this area and opportunities to gain experience. This will help me make an informed decision about my future.
